Project Objective
Capture the current condition of Leelanau County’s iconic Bi-Centennial Barn before restoration begins—highlighting its historical significance and architectural character.
Select photo sets will be shared with the property owner and the Leelanau Historical Society archives.
Note: While this project’s goal is public documentation, participants may choose whether or not to share their images. See “Image Use” section below.
Backstory
One of the most recognizable barns in Leelanau County, the Bicentennial Barn has long served as a roadside marker of rural heritage. With new stewards restoring it for the future, this is our moment to document the past.
